Going for a hike on the Ridge Camp Trail is always a magnificent adventure; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Laramie River. Canon Number 3 Reservoir is pretty dried out ordinarily;                  the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Horse Creek Trail, and Iron Mountain Dam is not far at all from Canon Number 3 Reservoir. All through the months of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Canon Number 3 Reservoir with overnight lows in the 40's.
