It is very dried up here at Canon Number 2 Reservoir mostly; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. There is a wonderful hiking trail next to Canon Number 2 Reservoir called the Ridge Camp Trail; some of the water close by flows, like Canteen Creek. At Canon Number 2 Reservoir through the summertime months highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in       the 40's. Highs all through the winter are typically in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Canon Number 2 Reservoir. You can take a little tour to Iron Mountain Dam if you're here at Canon Number 2 Reservoir, and not far from Canon Number 2 Reservoir you'll hit upon Canon Number 1 Reservoir which is a wonderful lake. Canon Number 2 Reservoir is located in the Laramie Mountains. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just come on                  down to Canon Number 2 Reservoir. Near Canon Number 2 Reservoir you locate the Horse Creek Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail; get wet paddling on Bluegrass Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
