Canoe Lake gets very little rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. High temperatures at Canoe Lake through the long summer days are in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for       Canoe Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. So many entertaining things in the Absaroka Range, just mind-boggling. Camping is available at Fox Creek Campground, and Clarks Fork Yellowstone is a magnificent whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Miller Creek Trail is perfect fun, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling                  on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. Take a hike on the Crandall Trail.
