Camp Lake is located in the Wind River Range. At Camp Lake you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the rain is June; February is the month with the least moisture. Pole Creek is a tremendous whitewater spot close to Camp Lake, and Scab Creek Campground is a great campground here. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Wind River Range. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious       site for whitewater paddling near Camp Lake is Bull Lake Creek, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Cook Lake Trail. That right there is a load of fun things already but it goes on, the Wind River Range has it all. Dry warm beds await you at Stagecoach Motor Inn, and the vista of charming Douglas Peak is splendid. For the period of the summertime months at Camp Lake highs are usually in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend                  down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Camp Lake are in the 10's. You clearly ought to go for Camp Lake.
