For the duration of the summer months at Calvert Lakes highs are regularly in the 80's; the night is a tad chillier of course, mostly in the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Calvert Lakes temperatures dip to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. At Calvert Lakes you always meet someone from Riverton;       whitewater paddling is fine on Middle Popo Agie River. Take a hike on the Sioux Pass Trail, and camping is available at Fiddlers Lake Campground. So many fun things to do in the Wind River Range, not enough time. A great location near Calvert Lakes is Atlantic Canyon, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Inn At Lander. If you get bored of Calvert Lakes, you could also pop by nearby Gustave Lake, and you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the                  Little Sweetwater Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range. So many fun things to do here at Calvert Lakes, too great to be true. Calvert Lakes is right by the Christina Lake Trail, and after a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Wind River Range. Leg Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and why not camp at Popo Agie Campground while you're here at Calvert Lakes.
