Calvert Lakes is mostly a rather waterless place; most of the rain falls throughout May while December is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Dry warm beds await you at Silver Spur Motel, and nearby Atlantic Canyon is a fine location to go. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid location to camp here at Calvert Lakes is Popo Agie Campground, and the Christina Lake Trail is a       splendid hiking trail close by. Downtown Motel is a glorious site to get some rest, and going for a hike on the Little Sweetwater Trail is always a tremendous adventure. So many fun things close to Calvert Lakes, absolutely tremendous. A lake nearby is Atlantic Lake, and Calvert Lakes is great enough to spend more than a day at, Fiddlers Lake Campground is a great local campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Wind River Range. All through the summertime                  highs here at Calvert Lakes get into the 80's while night lows are typically in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Calvert Lakes. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Wind River Range. There's whitewater on Middle Popo Agie River for all you adrenaline junkies, and close by you stumble on the Sioux Pass Trail which is a nice hiking trail.
