Summertime at Cache Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's; the overnight is somewhat colder of course, mostly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Cache Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's. Just can't get enough of Cache Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Beaver Lakes Loop Trail, and LaDuke Spring Campground       is a great campground nearby. A lake nearby is Little Joe Lake, and Cache Lake is a splendid spot to visit for more than one day, Indian Creek Campground is a splendid spot to camp nearby. Good hiking is available along the Sportsman Lake Trail. Yellowstone Park North Travelodge is a great site to get some rest, and a good place for whitewater paddling is Yellowstone River. It is very waterless here at Cache Lake frequently; the wettest month of the year is usually                  May, that's the one that rains the most; February is when it's the driest. If you need a location to stay Best Western Mammoth Hot Springs is a wonderful choice, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Cache Lake; Sepulcher Loop Trail is a fine local trail. This lake is so wonderful.
