Summertime highs at Byrne Reservoir commonly tend to be in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Byrne Reservoir temperatures drop to the 0's. A glorious place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Byrne Reservoir is Blacks Fork - East       Fork, and Prairie Inn Motel is a good place to get some rest. You can run the rapids of Blacks Fork - West Fork next to Byrne Reservoir; Byrne Dam is gorgeous. Man, is there a lot of cool things to do near Byrne Reservoir. While you're here at Byrne Reservoir you can take a hike along the Bear River Smiths Fork Trail, and there are plenty of folks from Evanston here at Byrne Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful site to camp here at Byrne Reservoir                  is Little Lyman Lake Campground, and on a good day you can take a hike along the High Line Trail. You could also stop by Byrne Reservoir while you're here at Byrne Reservoir; it's close by. Byrne Reservoir is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Meeks Cabin Campground is a fine local campground, and don't forget to take a delightful little visit to West Muddy Creek.
