There's so much to do here at Byrne Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Little Lyman Lake Campground is a magnificent location for that. Byrne Reservoir is ordinarily a relatively dehydrated site; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Why not visit Byrne Dam while you're here, and you       can go for a hike on the High Line Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Byrne Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Meeks Cabin Campground, and there are plenty of people from Evanston here at Byrne Reservoir. You can run the rapids of Blacks Fork - East Fork in the vicinity of Byrne Reservoir, and it's a good idea to stop by West Muddy Creek. All through the warmest time of the year at Byrne Reservoir highs are usually in the 80's, and                  during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Byrne Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn and Suites-Evanston is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and there are wonderful spots to explore along the Bear River Smiths Fork Trail. You completely must like Byrne Reservoir.
