    In Wyoming there are many beautiful lakes, Buttercup Reservoir is one of them. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Crazy Quilt Reservoir, and if you came to camp Absaroka Bay Recreational Vehicle is a good site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Shoshone River for all you adrenaline people; why not take a refreshing hike along the Jim Bridger Trail. Not far from Buttercup Reservoir, you'll stumble  
   on Back Scratcher Reservoir which is a beautiful lake, and if you need a spot to stay Budget Host Inn Cody is a fine choice.
Buttercup Reservoir beyond doubt is in the middle of a lovely outdoors paradise. Not much precipitation falls here at Buttercup Reservoir; most of the rain falls during May while February is ordinarily the driest month. All through the warm days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Buttercup Reservoir. Summer nighttime lows
 
               fall down to the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; night lows during the wintertime for Buttercup Reservoir tend to be in the 0's.
