If you get bored of Burritt Lake, you could also pop by nearby Long Lake, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Circle Trail. Burritt Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Bow River Campground is a perfect local campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Medicine Bow Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Camping at Deep Creek Campground is always       a delightful experience, and do take a hike on the Lakes Trail. At Burritt Lake you don’t see much rainfall; all through May this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. At Burritt Lake through the summer months highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows at Burritt Lake through the wintertime mostly plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
