    Do stop by Burnt Lake while you're in this part of Wyoming. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Boulder Campground, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pole Creek. Good hiking is available along the North Fork Trail, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Burnt Lake; Little Half Moon Trail is a nice local trail. After a long day outdoors Best Western Pinedale Inn is a nice site to spend  
   a night or two; Boulder Creek is a perfect whitewater spot close by.
You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Wind River Range. Burnt Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Boulder Lake Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and if you need a place to stay Baymont Inn & Suites Pinedale is a magnificent choice. The Wind River Range scenery is always beautiful. All the outdoors cool stuff in the
 
               vicinity of Burnt Lake will keep you coming back many times. Go for a hike on the Burnt Lake Trail.
Throughout the days of summer at Burnt Lake temperatures are typically in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while Burnt Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's. Burnt Lake is a location that is reasonably dry typically; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February.
