Around Burnt Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Burnt Lake is located in the Wind River Range. This lake is so wonderful. Burnt Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Boulder Campground is a delightful local campground, and a beautiful lake like Boulder Lake Reservoir Number 7 is a great place to visit. All the outdoors       entertaining things right next door to Burnt Lake will keep you coming back again and again. If the weather is pleasant here at Burnt Lake, you can go for a hike along the Burnt Lake Trail, and get soaked paddling on Pole Creek. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Boulder Creek; lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop at Meadow Lake. Be careful coming to the Wind River Range, you might not ever wanna return back home again. If you need a place to stay Baymont Inn                  & Suites Pinedale is a splendid choice. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Burnt Lake, and the overnight is quite chillier of course, frequently in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Burnt Lake are in the-10's. There is a perfect hiking trail near Burnt Lake called the Little Half Moon Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Pinedale Inn. Yeah, come up here to the Wind River Range for a pleasant time.
