Summertime highs at Burnt Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Burnt Lake. Burnt Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range. There's whitewater on Boulder Creek for all you thrill seekers, and hiking along the North       Fork Trail is brilliant fun. Burnt Lake gets very little precipitation; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Burnt Lake is nice fun, Boulder Campground is a nice local campground, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Little Half Moon Trail. This location is peerless, just look at all the fun things to do in close proximity to Burnt Lake. If you need a site to                  stay Rivera Lodge is a tremendous choice. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the Wind River Range has to offer.
