    Bugle Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. The amount of precipitation that falls at Bugle Lake is close to the national average; June is when you get the most rain here, and October is when it's the driest. Having a great time in the Absaroka Range is uncomplicated. There are good sites to look at along the Crazy Lakes Trail. Drift down the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone in a kayak, and the peak of Rock Island Butte can be observed from  
   Bugle Lake.
Bugle Lake is located in the Absaroka Range. Camping at Crazy Creek Campground is always a pleasant experience, and don't leave Bugle Lake without first going for a hike along the Crazy Mountain Trail. Man, is there a heap of entertaining things to do in the neighborhood of Bugle Lake. Bugle Lake is not the only site close by, Crazy Lakes is a close by lake; great hiking is available along the Lake Reno Trail.
You just can't picture the amount
 
               of outdoors fun things the Absaroka Range has to offer. Take a little trip to Pilot Creek while you're here at Bugle Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. High temperatures at Bugle Lake during the summer are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 30's. Highs throughout the wintertime are frequently in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Bugle Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Bugle Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Fox Creek Campground is a nice local campground, and if you need a place to stay Lupine Inn Red Lodge is a delightful choice.
