    Go to Lake Buffalo if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. From Lake Buffalo you acquire a nice vista of Black Rib, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Antelope Butte. Lake Buffalo is generally a reasonably dehydrated spot; the month with most of the snow is April, and the driest month of the year is February. A fine close by hotel is The Passage Resort at Big Horn, and if you get bored of Lake Buffalo you could  
   also go to close by Lake Shamrock.
There are some good whitewater spots on Paintrock Creek. There are tremendous locations to explore along the Edelman Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Tongue River. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Bighorn Mountains is peerless! Lake Buffalo is close to Elk Pass which is undeniably worth visiting; fine hiking is available along the Cliff Lake Trail.
 
               This lake is so wonderful. Lake Alibi is a nearby lake that you could go to; camping is available at Coffeen Park Campground. Lake Buffalo is one of the lakes here in the Bighorn Mountains. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Bighorn Mountains has to offer. Really good skiing awaits you at Big Horn Ski; you can go for a hike on the Game Creek Trail.
For the duration of the warm days of summer at Lake Buffalo highs are generally in the 60's with nighttime lows in the 30's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Lake Buffalo throughout the wintertime typically dip into the 0's. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Buffalo. Camping at Twin Lakes Campground is always a perfect experience; Wingate by Wyndham Sheridan WY is a good place to get some rest.
