At Buffalo Lake you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the rain is May, and January meanwhile is the driest month.       Buffalo Lake is one of the lakes here in the Owl Creek Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful spot for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Buffalo Lake is Wind River, and Jergens Spring is a magnificent local attraction. During the summertime months here at Buffalo Lake, high temperatures                  generally get into the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are generally in the 30's with temperatures at Buffalo Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights.
