    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Buffalo Bill Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. The Trout Creek Trail is a good hiking trail close to Buffalo Bill Reservoir, and get dripping wet paddling on Shoshone River. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Buffalo Bill Reservoir. You're probably keen on lakes, Barbee Reservoir is one of those nearby, and close by you stumble on the Table Mountain Trail which is a great hiking trail. TK's RV Park  
   is a nice local campground; if you need a site to stay Cody Cowboy Village is a tremendous choice.
And if that's not sufficient there's a heap more amusing things to do in the Absaroka Range. Dry warm beds await you at The Cody. Around Buffalo Bill Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and December is when it's the driest. Don't leave Buffalo Bill Reservoir without first paying a visit to Buffalo
 
               Bill Reservoir Springs, and if you came for an overnight stay Yellowstone Valley Inn is a perfect site to camp.
At Buffalo Bill Reservoir during the months of summer highs are in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Buffalo Bill Reservoir dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. Just can't get enough of the Absaroka Range. Glide down the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River in a kayak. Lakes are splendid; Newton Lakes is a lake that's close to Buffalo Bill Reservoir. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range.
