While you're here at Buffalo Bill Reservoir, you could also go to wonderful Newton Lakes; Buffalo Bill Reservoir Springs is an inspiring location to have a look at while you're here. Buffalo Bill Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range.       Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Clarks Fork Yellowstone River; a great nearby hotel is The Cody. Cody Cowboy Village is a great place to get some rest, and Buffalo Bill Reservoir is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, TK's RV Park is a wonderful spot to camp nearby. All year is a tremendous time in the Absaroka Range if you go for the outdoors. Buffalo Bill Reservoir is right by the Table Mountain                  Trail. So many cool things to do here in the Absaroka Range, too wonderful to be true. Do pop by Barbee Reservoir in the neighborhood of Buffalo Bill Reservoir, it's a striking lake, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Shoshone River. Around Buffalo Bill Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain while December is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Through the summer months here at Buffalo Bill Reservoir, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's.
