     Camping is available at Douglas Koa, and there are other places here than Buck Reservoir, for example Doe Reservoir. A nice place to camp here at Buck Reservoir is Lone Tree Village Mobile Home, and a good location is Dry Draw. And that's not all you can do here at Buck Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Douglas is a nice choice, and lakes are such peaceful spots, why not stop by Enlargement Tailings Basin Evaporation  
   Reservoir.
After a long day outdoors Best Western Douglas Inn & Conference Center is a brilliant location to spend a night or two; an out of the ordinary thing to take a look at next to Buck Reservoir is Buck Dam. Summertime at Buck Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Buck Reservoir dipping down into the 10's
 
               through winter nights. Around Buck Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is January.
