Buck Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Buck Lake without first going for a hike along the Thunderer Cutoff Trail, and there's some flowing water close by, Pebble Creek is a stream you can explore while you're here. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the Absaroka Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Buck Lake; Specimen Ridge Trail is a perfect local trail, and sites

| | like Round Prairie are great to stop at. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Shrimp Lake, and Buck Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Pebble Creek Campground is a tremendous local campground.

go for the outdoors. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Clarks Fork Yellowstone, and glorious hiking is available along the Miller Creek Trail. So many enjoyable things in the Absaroka Range, just extraordinary.
