High temperatures at Buck Draw Reservoir during the days of summer are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Buck Draw Reservoir temperatures drop to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Antelope Reservoir is near Buck Draw Reservoir, and Buck Draw is another nice place to have a look at nearby. The Elkhorn       Stock Driveway offers hiking at its best, and if you came for an overnight stay Triangle S Mobile Villa is a pleasant location to camp. Buck Draw Reservoir is pretty waterless mostly; May is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Dry warm beds await you at Silver Moon Motel, and paddling on Encampment River is so much fun. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Elkhorn Stock Driveway. Sage                  & Sand Motel is a good place to get some rest; camping is available at Jack Creek Campground.
