During the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Brook Lake fall into the-10's. All the outdoors amusing things in the Wind River Range will keep you coming back again and again. Everybody loves Gypsum Park, and there are other spots here than Brook Lake, for example Mud Lake.       This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Mud Lake is around here. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do near Brook Lake. Green River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby, and a pleasant close by hotel is Super 8 Dubois. Brook Lake is pretty dehydrated commonly; all through January this area sees the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. Yeah, come up here to the Wind River Range for a pleasant time. Don't leave Brook Lake                  without first going for a hike along the Warm Springs Trail; don't forget to take a great little trip to Roaring Fork. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Brook Lake has to offer, you can camp at Whiskey Grove Campground; you can go for a hike on the Lakeside Trail. One of the principal highlights of the surroundings of Brook Lake is Little Sheep Mountain, and there are great places to discover along the South Gypsum Trail. Paddling on Boulder Creek is so much fun. There's so much to do here at Brook Lake that you need to camp here for a while, The Narrows Campground is a nice site for that.
