Head up to Big Horn Ski and strap some skis to your feet, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Main Paint Rock Trail. Stay the night at Leigh Creek Campground; there's some exciting stuff to observe at Brokenback Dam next to Brokenback Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. This is a good region for people who like lakes. Carothers Lake is a lake in the neighborhood, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Kinky White Trail.

| | Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Brokenback Reservoir, and the nighttime is a little colder of course, generally in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Brokenback Reservoir. Brokenback Reservoir is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, Flagstaff Campground is a wonderful site to camp nearby; if you're here, you might as well stop by Pierce Draw. outdoors entertaining things, what a great globe it would be. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Upper Reservoir, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling
on Tensleep Creek. North Fork Brokenback Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth stopping at, and going for a hike on the North High Park Trail is always a tremendous adventure. It is very dry here at Brokenback Reservoir mostly;
through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. A great location for whitewater paddling right next door to Brokenback Reservoir is Paintrock Creek.
