    Many people like to go to Brewster Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range. It is very dry here at Brewster Lake generally; throughout January this area sees the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. Summertime highs at Brewster Lake usually tend to be in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's while the cold  
   winter nights at Brewster Lake are in the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. You have to undeniably dedicate some time to Grizzly Basin if you're here at Brewster Lake, and camping at Granite Creek Campground is always a fine experience. Be careful coming to Brewster Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. Good hiking is available along the Pass Creek Trail. There are brilliant spots to look at along the Sawmill Park Trail; whitewater paddling is not for
 
               everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Granite Creek.
Don't leave Brewster Lake without first going for a hike along the Purdy Basin Trail; camping is available at Crystal Creek Campground. All the outdoors exciting things in the Wind River Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. Heart Six Dude Ranch is a fine spot to get some rest, and you get a tremendous panorama of Darwin Peak from here.
