Having a good time in the Owl Creek Mountains is easy. There's so much to do here at Boysen Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Latch String Campground is a splendid site for that, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Boysen Reservoir; Johnson Trail is a great local trail. After a long day outdoors Desert Inn Motel is a tremendous place to spend a night or       two, and at Boysen Dam near Boysen Reservoir there are some out of the ordinary things to see. At Boysen Reservoir through the summertime months highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Boysen Reservoir dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. If you came to camp Fountain Of Youth RV Park is a pleasant spot to do that; why not a little side visit to Boysen Creek.                  This lake is so wonderful. Shoshoni Motel is a great location to get some rest, and get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Wind River. Just can't get enough of Boysen Reservoir. Boysen Reservoir is pretty dried out frequently; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month is February.
