If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Owl Creek Mountains. There's some interesting stuff to catch a sight of at Boysen Dam next to Boysen Reservoir, and camping at Fountain Of Youth RV Park is always a tremendous experience. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Boysen Reservoir. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily       in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Boysen Reservoir temperatures sink to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Thermopolis Super 8 Motel is a wonderful place to get some rest, and Boysen Reservoir is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Latch String Campground is a nice local campground. Boysen Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Owl Creek Mountains. On a nice day at Boysen Reservoir you can take a hike along the Johnson Trail, and                  dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Thermopolis. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Wind River, and it's a pleasant idea to stop by Boysen Creek. Boysen Reservoir gets very little rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
