In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Granite Creek; the peak of Pyramid Peak can be seen from Box Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Spring Creek Ranch, and Box Lake is a great location to visit for more than one day, Granite Creek Campground is a great location to camp nearby. This lake is located in the wonderful Wind       River Range. Lakes are great; Blue Miner Lake is a lake that's near Box Lake; some of the water nearby flows, like Box Creek. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Wind River Range has to offer. Snow King is a very popular ski area close by, and you can stay the night at Kozy Campground. This location is excellent, just explore all the exciting stuff to do near Box Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Box Lake; High                  Line Trail is a great local trail, and Hoback River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Bentwood Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two; do pay a visit to Grand Teton National Park while you're here at Box Lake. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Wind River Range is great! You're in all probability hooked on lakes, Turquoise Lake is one of those nearby; there's splendid hiking along the Granite Highline Trail. Summertime highs at Box Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Box Lake.
