If you like lakes and you're in this part of Wyoming you can check out Box Lake. At Box Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; overnight lows at Box Lake all through the winter frequently fall into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Hoback River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and Kozy Campground is a splendid campground nearby. That right there is a heap

| | of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Wind River Range has it all. Granite Creek Campground is a tremendous local campground, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Granite Highline Trail.
Box Lake is pretty dried out usually; through the month of January you get the most snow around here, and the driest month of the year is July. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Wind River Range. Don't forget to | |

take a fine little spree to Box Creek, and if you haven’t been to Grand Teton National Park, you must schedule some time for it while you're here. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater
paddling on Granite Creek, and Bentwood Inn is a great site to get some rest.
Having a great time at Box Lake is simple. The top of Pyramid Peak is easily distinguished from Box Lake, and after a long day outdoors Spring Creek
Ranch is a great site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Box Lake is one of the lakes here in the Wind River Range.
If you like skiing, you're in luck; Snow King is right next door to Box Lake; if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the High Line Trail.
