There is a good hiking trail close to Boulter Lake called the Diamond Lake Trail, and a lake nearby is Beaver Lake. And that's not all there is to do here in the Wind River Range. Getting to Dads Creek from Boulter Lake is uncomplicated; dry warm beds await you at Boulder Inn. Just can't get enough of the Wind River Range. If the weather is nice here at Boulter Lake, you can go for a hike       along the Francis Lake Tail, and you can stay the night at Big Sandy Campground. This lake is so wonderful. On a magnificent day at Boulter Lake you can take a hike along the Highline Trail. There's so much to do here at Boulter Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Scab Creek Campground is a fine place for that. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Boulter Lake, too nice to be true. Don't miss out on a splendid swamp; Poston Meadows is right here at                  Boulter Lake, and why not have a look at Boulter Dam if you're here. Through the months of summer here at Boulter Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's with night lows in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Boulter Lake temperatures plunge to the-10's. Boulter Lake gets very little precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February.
