This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range. Lots of folks from Riverton come to Boulder Lake, and going for a hike on the Middle Fork Trail is always a splendid adventure. Boulder Lake is pretty dried out regularly; May is the month that gets the most rain, and December is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge is a glorious       choice, and drift down the rapids of Middle Popo Agie River in a kayak. High temperatures at Boulder Lake during the summertime months are in the 80's, and the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, frequently in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Boulder Lake plunge into the 10's. So many fun things to do here at Boulder Lake, too nice to be true. A splendid location to camp here                  at Boulder Lake is Popo Agie Campground, and Cony Mountain is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Boulder Lake. Man, is there lots of amusing stuff to do in the Wind River Range. You might want to pay a visit to Silas Canyon since you're here at Boulder Lake, and Best Western Inn At Lander is a fine place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. The Christina Lake Trail is a good hiking trail near Boulder Lake. Boulder Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Fiddlers Lake Campground is a good local campground, and Boulder Lake is not the only location close by, Upper Silas Lake is a close by lake. You clearly must love the Wind River Range.
