So much exciting stuff in the Wind River Range, just astonishing. Alice Lake is a great lake near Boone Lake; lakes are such peaceful places, why not visit Marion Lake. At Boone Lake you don’t see much rainfall; June is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is February. Longhorn RV & Motel is a good local campground, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the       Jakeys Fork Trail. All through the summer months at Boone Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Boone Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Wind River Range. While you're here at Boone Lake you can take                  a hike along the Whiskey Mountain Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Circle Up Camper Court Shop is a magnificent location to camp. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Wind River; if you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a splendid choice. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Boone Lake. Looking for some flowing water? Try Dyke Creek; a glorious site for whitewater paddling is Green River. Boone Lake is located in the Wind River Range. This lake is so wonderful.
