Bonneville Dam has perfect water scenery and it's in the vicinity of Bonneville Reservoir, and a tremendous place to camp here at Bonneville Reservoir is Latch String Campground. Summertime at Bonneville Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs       in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Bonneville Reservoir. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Wind River, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Johnson Trail. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Thermopolis is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. Not much precipitation falls here at Bonneville Reservoir; the month with most of the rain is May while January is the month with the least                  amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
