Bonneville Lakes is pretty dry regularly; through May this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is December. So many exciting things to do in the Wind River Range, not enough time. Bonneville Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things close to Bonneville Lakes. Everybody loves Bonneville Basin, and if you came for an overnight stay Big Sandy       Campground is a splendid spot to camp. There are pleasant sites to discover along the Crossover Trail; Scab Creek Campground is a great campground here. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Middle Fork Trail is always a good adventure; Darren Lake is a perfect lake nearby. At Bonneville Lakes through the summertime highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's                  with temperatures at Bonneville Lakes dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Baily Peak is clearly visible from Bonneville Lakes, and get wet paddling on Bull Lake Creek. This location, the Wind River Range, has so much outdoors entertaining things.
