If you are traveling by, why not stop by Bog Lakes. Bog Lakes is located in the Absaroka Range. A glorious location for whitewater paddling next to Bog Lakes is Wind River - East Fork, and a fine close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Dubois. This lake is so wonderful. The Burroughs Creek Trail is a great hiking trail near Bog Lakes, and Best Western Pinedale Inn is a tremendous site to get some rest.
There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Bog Lakes.

| | You can run the rapids of Wind River close to Bog Lakes, and since you're here at Bog Lakes, checking out Lincoln Point is a must. Not much rain falls here at Bog Lakes; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Absaroka Range. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Bog Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Double Cabin Campground.

Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly is plentiful here in the Absaroka Range. If the weather is great here at Bog Lakes, you can go for a hike along the Parque Creek Trail, and if the weather is beautiful, you obtain a nice vista
of Boedeker Butte from Bog Lakes. High temperatures at Bog Lakes throughout the summertime months are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; winter nights come with
lows in the 10's to Bog Lakes. There is a tremendous hiking trail in close proximity to Bog Lakes called the Twilight Creek Trail. There's so much to do here at Bog Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Circle Up Camper Court Shop is a splendid spot for that.
