All the outdoors fun stuff near Bob Lakes will keep you coming back over and over. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Dry Creek Trail; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Little Milky Lake. All through the days of summer here at Bob Lakes, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The       wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Bob Lakes drop into the 10's. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Wind River Range. Camping is available at Scab Creek Campground, and a fine location is Indian Pass. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Wind River Range is so good! After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a great                  site to spend a night or two. While you're here at Bob Lakes you can take a hike along the Dinwoody Trail, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Wind River. Camping at Longhorn RV & Motel is always a good experience, and going for a hike along the Ink Wells Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Bull Lake Creek offers some great whitewater. Lakes are good; Crater Lake is a lake that's near Bob Lakes. Not much rain falls here at Bob Lakes; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month is February.
