The panorama of lovely Castle Rock near Blue Ridge Reservoir is wonderful, and after a long day outdoors Marbleton Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. Not much precipitation falls here at Blue Ridge Reservoir; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while February is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well stop at Milleson Draw, and there is       a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Emigrant Trail. Camping at Cowboy Court Trailer Park is always a pleasant experience; a perfect close by hotel is New Frontier Hotel & Store. High temperatures at Blue Ridge Reservoir throughout the months of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's.
