A great close by hotel is Riverton Super 8 Motel, and camping at Owl       Creek Kampground is always a glorious experience. A magnificent site to camp here at Blue Reservoir is Rudy's Camper Court, and soar down the rapids of Wind River in a kayak. It is very dried up here at Blue Reservoir commonly; May is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. For the duration of the summertime months, highs typically are in the 80's at Blue Reservoir with night lows in the 40's.
