Blue Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range. Don't leave Blue Lakes without first paying a visit to Lake Fork Falls, and there are some good whitewater spots on Shoshone River - South Fork. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Absaroka Range. Take a hike on the DuNoir Trail; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Dubois. If       you go for the outdoors, you'll go for Blue Lakes. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Yellowstone Trail; Blue Lakes is great enough to spend more than a day at, Pinnacle Campground is a great local campground. Summertime highs at Blue Lakes regularly tend to be in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 30's. For the duration of the winter highs are mostly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Blue Lakes are in the-10's. Blue                  Lakes gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls during June, and the driest month of the year is October. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Blue Lakes; Marston Pass Trail is a pleasant local trail.
