Just can't get enough of the Absaroka Range. If you come at the right time of year, Shoshone River - South Fork offers some good whitewater, and Blue Lakes is right by the Yellowstone Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Brooks Lake Campground is a tremendous location to camp, and the Marston Pass Trail offers hiking at its best. Blue Lakes is a location that is pretty dried out commonly; the month of June is the       wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest. And if that's not enough there's heaps more exciting things to do in the Absaroka Range. Hiking along the DuNoir Trail is great fun; a gorgeous lake like Ferry Lake is a good place to stop at. During the warmest time of the year at Blue Lakes highs are frequently in the 70's; the night is a little colder of course, generally in the 30's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's; overnight                  lows through the winter for Blue Lakes tend to be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay The Sawmill Lodge is a fine choice, and camping at Blue Lakes is tremendous fun, Pinnacle Campground is a tremendous local campground. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. It's always great to check out Lake Fork Falls, and Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a fine site to get some rest.
