     Wyoming has many beautiful lakes and Blacktail Ponds is one of them. If you need a place to stay Alpenhof Lodge is a glorious choice; Snow King is a very popular ski area nearby. People from Jackson love to come to Blacktail Ponds, and Grand Teton National Park is one of the destinations that are magnificent to have a look at close by. This lake is so wonderful. Blacktail Ponds is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Jenny Lake Campground is a wonderful  
   local campground; there's good hiking along the Beaver Creek Trail.
Good hiking is available along the Taggart Lake Trail; you can hit the slopes at Jackson Hole close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. Cottonwood Creek is a great local stream, and you must without doubt go to Rock Face during your stay.
After a long day outdoors Snake River Lodge And Spa is a fine spot to spend a night or two, and a great place close by is Carpenter Draw. Life's
 
               too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff near Blacktail Ponds. If you come at the right time of year, Gros Ventre River offers some perfect whitewater, and Jackson Hole is a pleasant site. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Blacktail Ponds. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's while Blacktail Ponds nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's.
There's so much to do here at Blacktail Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Gros Ventre Campground is a good place for that, and the summit of Blacktail Butte can be seen from Blacktail Ponds. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Drift down the rapids of Ditch Creek in a kayak, and the Bradley Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. Blacktail Ponds gets very little precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally January, that's the one that snows the most, and July is the month with the least moisture.
