So much entertaining stuff to do here at Blacktail Pond, too tremendous to be true. There's some flowing water nearby, Lupine Creek is a stream you can visit during your stay, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Gardiner is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Absaroka Range. There's so much to do here at Blacktail       Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Eagle Creek Campground is a splendid spot for that, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Mulherin Creek. Blacktail Pond gets very little precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; February is when it's the driest. Summertime at Blacktail Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are generally in the 50's. High temperatures during                  the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Blacktail Pond are in the 10's. Put some time aside to spend at Wraith Falls while you're here at Blacktail Pond; going for a hike along the Lower Blacktail Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. This lake is so wonderful. The Lower Blacktail Trail is a delightful hiking trail near Blacktail Pond; there are other places here than Blacktail Pond, for example Phantom Lake. That right there is a load of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Absaroka Range has it all. If the weather is wonderful here at Blacktail Pond, you can go for a hike along the Rescue Creek Trail, and Comfort Inn Yellowstone North is a pleasant location to get some rest. Not far from Blacktail Pond, you'll come across Crevice Lake which is a stunning lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Blacktail Pond has to offer, you can camp at Lava Creek Campgrounds. This lake is so wonderful.
