If you are in Park county it's always a good idea to stop by Blacktail Pond. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. For the duration of the summer months at Blacktail Pond highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; nighttime lows at Blacktail Pond through the winter mostly drop into the 10's. Going for a hike on the Lower Blacktail Trail is always a wonderful adventure;

on Mulherin Creek is so much fun. At Blacktail Pond you don’t see much precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. You clearly ought to love Blacktail Pond. A delightful nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Gardiner; you can go for a hike on the Lower Blacktail Trail.
