    Go to Black Stone Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. There's so much to do here at Black Stone Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Long Lake Campground is a perfect place for that, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. Going for a hike on the Lewis and Clark Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and you can stay the night at Buena Vista Campground. So much cool stuff close to Black Stone Lake, just mind-boggling.  
   Lupine Inn Red Lodge is a tremendous spot to get some rest; paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River is so much fun.
Black Stone Lake gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; June is the wettest month with most rain; October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Yodeler Motel. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Absaroka Range. The skiing at Red Lodge Mountain is magnificent, and
 
               Quintuple Peaks is simple to spot from Black Stone Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Black Stone Lake, you could also explore gorgeous Daphnia Lake, and close by you discover the Morrison Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. Black Stone Lake is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range. Through the days of summer, highs frequently are in the 70's at Black Stone Lake. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Black Stone Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's.
Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is bountiful here in the Absaroka Range. Black Stone Lake is close to Beartooth Pass which is certainly worth a visit; the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail is a delightful hiking trail close by.
