Black Stone Lake is a lake worth visiting. Campground is a good local campground. Red Lodge Mountain has glorious slopes and a friendly staff, and the peak of Quintuple Peaks can be observed from Black Stone Lake. Clarks Fork Yellowstone River has a pleasant whitewater paddling
spot close by, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail. You absolutely have to love the Absaroka Range. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Red Lodge; on a great day you can take a hike along the Morrison Trail.
