It's always fun to stop by Black Lake. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Wind River Range. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Pinedale Inn, and if you need a site to stay Baymont Inn & Suites Pinedale is a good choice. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Black Lake has to offer, you can camp at Boulder Campground, and there's magnificent hiking along the Timico Lake Trail. Having a magnificent time at Black Lake is trouble-free.

| | Boulder Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot right next door to Black Lake, and you can stay the night at Boulder Lake Campground.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range. This lake is so wonderful. Little Brown Point is an out of the ordinary thing to observe if you're here at Black Lake; a delightful place for whitewater paddling is Pole Creek. This lake is so wonderful.

getting to Baldy Creek from Black Lake is painless. So many entertaining things to do in the Wind River Range, not sufficient time. Barnes Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out, and hiking is a popular thing to do around
Black Lake; Little Half Moon Trail is a pleasant local trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Black Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while the
cold winter nights at Black Lake are in the-10's.
Black Lake gets very little rain; May is the wettest month with most rain while February is usually the driest month.
