That right there is plenty of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Medicine Bow Mountains has it all. Browns Peak is a peak you can make out from Black Jack Lake, and there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Circle Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the splendid whitewater of North Platte River; not far from Black Jack Lake you'll come across Bellamy Lake which is a beautiful lake.       Going for a hike on the Lakes Trail is always a nice adventure; Libby Flats is a good place to check out. Stay the night at Mirror Lake Campground, and why not head up to Snowy Range and strap some skis to your feet. Summertime at Black Jack Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Black Jack Lake. Lewis Lake Campground is a wonderful campground here; close by Snowy Range Pass is a perfect spot to go.
