Billys Lake is one of the lakes here in the Wind River Range. This lake is so wonderful. Billys Lake is pretty arid usually; May is the month that gets the most rain, and December is the month with the least moisture. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the vicinity of Billys Lake. Nearby Jackass Pass is a delightful place to go if you're at Billys Lake; nearby you locate the Shadow Lake       Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. A great close by hotel is Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge; going for a hike on the Bears Ears Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Just can't get enough of the Wind River Range. Get your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Bull Lake Creek, and camping is available at Big Sandy Campground. And that's not everything you can do here in the Wind River Range. Block Tower is an out of the ordinary spot to visit while                  at Billys Lake, and at Billys Lake you can see Bair Peak. Throughout the summertime highs here at Billys Lake reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are generally in the 30's, and night lows all through the winter for Billys Lake tend to be in the 10's. Go for a hike on the Big Sunday Trail; do stop by Cirque Lake, it's a picturesque lake. This lake is so wonderful.
