There are delightful sites to explore along the Emigrant Trail; the panorama of wonderful Haystack Butte is wonderful. Big Sandy Reservoir gets very little rain; throughout May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Sitzman's Motel is a fine spot to spend a night or two.
