If you are in this part of Wyoming make sure to pay a visit to Big Moose Lake. High temperatures at Big Moose Lake during the days of summer are in the 70's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 30's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Big Moose Lake. | | along the Crazy Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River right next door to Big Moose Lake, and skiing at Red Lodge Mountain is one of those things you just have to do.

for all you adrenaline rush seekers. You could also stop by Shrew Lake since you're here at Big Moose Lake; it's nearby, and Big Moose Lake is a pleasant site to visit for more than one day, Lake Creek Campground is a pleasant site to camp nearby.
