Beautiful Bench Lake has much to offer visitors. Bench Lake gets very little precipitation; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is generally the driest month. If you get bored of Bench Lake, you could also explore nearby Slide Lake; don't leave Bench Lake without first going for a hike along the Clear Creek Trail. Bench Lake is located in the Wind River Range. Don't leave Bench Lake without first checking out White Rock, and Sawmill is a great site to get some rest. All through the long summer days highs here at Bench Lake get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in | |

the 30's; through the dark hours in the winter at Bench Lake temperatures fall to the 10's.
Just can't get enough of Bench Lake. There's magnificent hiking along the New Fork Trail, and Bench Lake is glorious enough to spend more
than a day at, Trails End Campground is a glorious local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Squaretop Mountain is clearly visible from Bench Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Slide Lake Trail, and after a long
day outdoors The Sawmill Lodge is a perfect spot to spend a night or two.
You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Wind River Range. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Green
River. There's so much to do here at Bench Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Fremont Lake Campground is a splendid place for that.
