The sight of gorgeous Limestone Rim near Bell Reservoir is magnificent, and a delightful place to explore close by is Hay Canyon. This lake is so wonderful. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to observe at Bell Dam near Bell Reservoir, and there are some good whitewater spots on Bluegrass Creek. So much entertaining stuff right next door to Bell Reservoir, just extraordinary. Going for a hike on the Ridge Camp Trail       is always a great adventure. High temperatures at Bell Reservoir all through the long summer days are in the 80's while night lows are generally in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Bell Reservoir temperatures fall to the 0's. At Bell Reservoir you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest of the months is January. There are pleasant places                  to explore along the Horse Creek Trail, and camping is available at Yellow Pine Campground. That right there is a load of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Laramie Mountains has it all. Some nearby water includes Spring Creek, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Laramie is a fine place to spend a night or two.
