Near Belknap Creek Number 1 Reservoir you come across the South Piney Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Shoshone River. Having a good time in the Absaroka Range is uncomplicated. If you need a spot to stay Cody Cowboy Village is a good choice, and you can stay the night at Hitching Post Campgrounds. But wait, there's  
   more exciting things to do in the Absaroka Range.
All through the months of summer highs here at Belknap Creek Number 1 Reservoir get into the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Belknap Creek Number 1 Reservoir. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Dry warm beds await you at The Cody, and the Piney Creek Trail is a great hiking trail close by.
 
               On a nice day at Belknap Creek Number 1 Reservoir you can take a hike along the Jack Creek Trail; do have a look at Swan Creek Number 7 Reservoir, it's a pretty lake.
There's whitewater on Greybull River for all you adrenaline kick people; Belknap Creek Number 1 Reservoir is a good site to visit for more than one day, Jack Creek Campground is a good site to camp nearby. Belknap Creek Number 1 Reservoir is a location that is reasonably dry frequently; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January on the other hand is the driest. Belknap Creek Number 1 Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range.
