Lakes are such calm places, why not visit Belknap Creek Number 4 Reservoir in close proximity to Belknap Creek Number 1 Reservoir, and if you came for an overnight stay Jack Creek Campground is a good location to camp. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun things just keep reading. Don't leave Belknap Creek Number 1 Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Jack  
   Creek Trail; good hiking is available along the Piney Creek Trail. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the Absaroka Range has to offer.
For the duration of the warm days of summer at Belknap Creek Number 1 Reservoir highs are regularly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's while Belknap Creek Number 1 Reservoir overnight low temperatures during the
 
               winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Hitching Post Campgrounds is a perfect campground here, and Shoshone River is a great whitewater spot close by. A great nearby hotel is Cody Cowboy Village; a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is Greybull River.
Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Absaroka Range is peerless! After a long day outdoors Cody - Days Inn is a great place to spend a night or two, and there's great hiking along the South Piney Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range. Belknap Creek Number 1 Reservoir is pretty arid commonly; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is January.
