Lakes? Sure, Lake Surprise is in the neighborhood, and Boulder Lake Campground is a fine campground nearby. So much amusing stuff to do in the Wind River Range, not enough time. There are other sites here than Belford Lake, for example Black Lake, and hiking along the Burnt Lake Trail is glorious fun. Belford Lake is located in the Wind River Range. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Wind River       Range. Why not go to nearby Baldy Creek since you're here at Belford Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Baymont Inn & Suites Pinedale. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at Belford Lake generally tend to be in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs all through the wintertime are frequently in the 20's, and night lows in the-10's for Belford Lake. Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more exciting stuff                  to do here at Belford Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Boulder Creek, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the North Fork Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Pole Creek, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Pinedale Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two. Belford Lake is pretty arid typically; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while February is ordinarily the driest month.
