While you're here at Beaver Ponds you can take a hike along the Beaver Lakes Loop Trail, and why not check out nearby Gardner River since you're here at Beaver Ponds. Not much rain falls here at Beaver Ponds; May is when you get the most rain here while February is regularly the driest month. This place, Beaver Ponds, it just has so much outdoors cool stuff. | | and camping is available at Rocky Mountain Campground. Gardner Canyon is a nice site to explore; a striking lake like Slide Lake is a fine site to go to. Capitol Hill is clearly visible from Beaver Ponds. Do set aside some time for Elk Plaza while you're here at Beaver Ponds; a short trip to Highland Spring is always worthwhile.
