Beaver Ponds is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Mulherin Creek in the vicinity of Beaver Ponds, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Beaver Lakes Loop Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Beaver Ponds has to offer, you can camp at Rocky Mountain Campground, and naturally Gardner River flows through this region. everybody loves Elk Plaza. Summertime highs at Beaver Ponds usually tend to be in the 80's, and the night is rather colder of course, typically in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's; winter nights
come with lows in the 10's to Beaver Ponds. Super 8 Motel - Gardiner is a magnificent site to get some rest, and don't leave Beaver Ponds without first checking out Eagle Nest Rock. A brilliant location close to Beaver Ponds is Gardner
Canyon. There's so much to do here at Beaver Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Eagle Creek Campground is a nice place for that. Beaver Ponds is pretty dried out generally; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
