Beaver Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Bighorn Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Beaver Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Highland Park Campground is a good site for that, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Solitude Trail. Do check out Kearney Lake near Beaver Lakes, it's a scenic lake; after a long day outdoors Sheridan-Days Inn is a splendid       location to spend a night or two. Beaver Lakes is usually a reasonably dried out spot; the month of April is the wettest with most of the snow while February is usually the driest month. Any time is a great time at Beaver Lakes if you love the outdoors. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Sheridan is a great choice, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tensleep Creek. Man, is there heaps of enjoyable                  things to do in the Bighorn Mountains. Going for a hike along the Penrose Park Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and the scenery at Kearney Lake Dam is picturesque. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Bighorn Mountains, too great to be true. On a glorious day at Beaver Lakes you can take a hike along the Stockwell Trail. Beaver Lakes is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Little Goose Campground is a pleasant local campground; while you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Sheridan. Summertime at Beaver Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 60's. Summer night lows dip down to the 30's.
