Do stop by Beauty Lake while you're in this part of Wyoming. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Beauty Lake; Beartooth Highlakes Trail is a great local trail. After a long day outdoors Yodeler Motel is a great location to spend a night or two, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Clay Butte Trail. A normal amount of rain falls here at Beauty Lake; throughout June this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is October. Lake is Top Of The World Campground. For the duration of the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Beauty Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's
while the cold winter nights at Beauty Lake are in the 0's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Clarks Fork Yellowstone River offers some
magnificent whitewater; Beartooth Plateau is a beautiful place any time of year. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Clarks Fork Yellowstone River; good hiking is available along the Beauty Lake Trail.
