While you're here at Beartooth Lake, you could also pop by beautiful Sill Lake, and there is a glorious hiking trail nearby called the Beauty Lake Trail. Beartooth Lake is located in the Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Beartooth Highlakes Trail is always a good adventure, and       Clarks Fork Yellowstone River is a perfect whitewater spot close by. Throughout the summertime highs here at Beartooth Lake get into the 70's with night lows in the 30's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 20's; nighttime lows at Beartooth Lake throughout the wintertime regularly drop into the 0's. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Beartooth Lake rules! Camping is available at Beartooth Lake Campground, and there's some flowing water close by,                  Little Bear Creek is a stream you can check out during your stay. These mountains rock, just look at all the exciting stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River; Crane Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. From a rain point of view Beartooth Lake is a quite typical location; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Absaroka Range. If the weather is beautiful, you get a wonderful panorama of Beartooth Butte from Beartooth Lake, and Beartooth Falls is an inspiring site to stop by while you're here. This lake is so wonderful.
