A visit to Bear Lake is always a good idea. Through the summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Bear Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's while Bear Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. Bear Lake is regularly a pretty arid location; through June this area sees the most rain while January is frequently the driest month. A good close by

| | hotel is Best Western Inn At Sundance, and a brilliant place to camp here at Bear Lake is Timon Campground. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Black Hills. Going for a hike on the Pettigrew Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and a short spree to Hamilton Spring is always worthwhile. Having a brilliant time at Bear Lake is trouble-free. Travelodge is a good place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Rod and Gun Campground while you're here at Bear Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Spearfish
Creek. This lake is so wonderful. The Black Hills scenery is always beautiful. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is bountiful here in the Black Hills. Go for a hike on the Iron Creek Trail; you'll come across a beautiful
lake called Straight Lake. Pole Cabin Gulch is in the vicinity of Bear Lake and is undeniably a great spot to go to, and do visit Rocky Ford Reservoir, it's a wonderful lake.
